Template platforms like Squarespace and Wix work fine when your needs are simple. But the moment you need something that functions a specific way, or looks like more than a dressed-up template, those tools hit a wall. AI can generate a website. Building one that actually works for your business is a different thing entirely.

Web Design Certification, 2015

What began as a hobby became a vocational certification in Web Design from Sessions College for Professional Design in 2015. I used that foundation to build websites for my own businesses first, then for people I knew who needed the same thing.

For the last several years it stayed a side job. In April of 2026 I made it a core part of what I do — design and development handled by one person, start to finish. No handoffs, no miscommunication between a designer and a developer who have never met.

AI has lowered the barrier to entry, and anyone can generate a website now. But generating a website and building one that actually works for your business are two different things. Knowing what to build, why it matters, and how to make it hold up across devices, screen readers, and search engines still takes someone with the training to do it right. I would like to be that person for your business.

How I Work

Process.

1

Discovery & Strategy

Every engagement starts with a conversation about your business, your customers, and what the site needs to accomplish. I ask the uncomfortable questions early so nothing surprises either of us later.

2

Design & Build

You get regular check-ins with real progress to review — not radio silence followed by a surprise reveal. Every design decision is made with the code in mind, and every code decision is made with the design in mind.

3

Launch & Handover

You get a site that works, documentation that explains it, and a developer you can reach if something needs adjusting. Clean, commented code, a performance report, and a plain-English guide.
